We are excited to announce that the 2022 GrasSports Junior State Championships will be occurring in the July school holidays. This event is the pinnacle junior hockey event for all aspiring junior hockey players and officials in Victoria. Six metropolitan zones and four regional zones will compete in both boys’ and girls’ divisions for Under 13,15 and 18.
When: Thursday 30th June - Sunday 3rd July 2022
Where: State Netball Hockey Centre and Footscray Hockey Centre Age Groups: Under 13 born in 2009, 2010 and 2011
Under 15 born in 2007 and 2008
Under 18 born in 2004, 2005 and 2006

All players that are selected to represent Victoria at the Under 15 and 18 National Championships will be granted automatic selection into their Zone team, should they wish to participate in the JSC. These players MUST nominate for their Zone team through the relevant link otherwise they will not be selected.
There is no cost to nominate but players must hold a 2022 Hockey Victoria Playing Membership.

Trials: Players must attend a 2-hour trial on Sunday April 3rd at Bendigo Hockey Centre
Under 15 and 18 Boys Under 13 Girls and Boys Under 15 and 18 Girls
12.45pm – 2.45pm 10.30am – 12.30pm 10.45am – 12.45pm
Cost: If successful in gaining a place in the Lightning team there is a $345 fee covering: Competition fee which includes officials’ payments, pitch hire, staffing, administration, first aid and other event related costs; training program including pitch hire, equipment etc.; coaching, zone administration and playing shirt or GK Smock.

Sunday 5th June - Bendigo
Sunday 19th June – Bendigo (Under 18 compete in SCC in Melbourne/Geelong 11th-13th June instead) Wednesday 29th June – Bendigo
